I recently applied for Hogan Lovells' winter vac scheme, and accidentally submitted one of my module grades a single mark higher than it actually was. I wasn't sure what to do so I emailed grad rec asking them to withdraw my application. I have not received a response yet, but they just emailed an invite to the online assessment. What should I do here? Is there any chance I can progress with the process?
Hello!

You definitely did the right thing by being honest and emailing them. The invite probably went out automatically - as it is a very minor mistake, I’d say that there is still chance to progress with the process.

If you have time before the test deadline, I would email the graduate recruitment team to confirm what they feel is the best route for you to take - either complete the online assessment on your original application, or re-submit a new one.

I hope that helps (and try not to panic too much!) :)

does anyone know how i can get vantage to save my most recent details?

love vantage as it autofills my information in with each new application, but it is using details from some application i made at the start of second year, which means i need to completely rewrite the work experience section every time as well as having to put in my second year grades too.

i would love for it to use my most recent application, just cant figure out how

Me too, it's so irksome anyway. Even though this is my first cycle with Vantage, I want to change some elements in the grading section after my first app in September, which I found one missing grade and also would like to modify some of the details of my work experience.

Edit: hey, I just figured it out. All you need to do is go to your profile on the top of right hand side, there you can edit your details, so you can edit everything you want, when the new app comes, it will based on there.

I've tired to alter manually in each new app. Maybe contact Vantage team for assistance?
You have to log into vantage, click on 'your profile' in the top right, and edit the sections there. It uses this information for the complete with vantage option.

P,W interview! It says "first-stage" though :( I didn't know there were multiple before VS
Omg congrats!!

I think the process changed this year. It’s first app and then 1st stage interview and then VS if you pass the interview. You get assessed on the actual VS instead- partner interview, numeracy test and presentation.

Best of luck!!

So odd because mine won’t remember my work experience!

Ah ok, thank you! So you don't think I'll have to do this interview (it's in person), and then go to an AC as well if successful?

Nope! On the PW forum, the recruitment manager Paul said this:

“Once your vacation scheme application is submitted, it will be reviewed. Successful applicants will then be invited to a first stage interview in our London office.

If you are successful at the interview, you will then be invited to join one of our vacation schemes. During the vacation scheme there will be three assessments: a partner interview, a numeracy test and a presentation.”
