Heya - I did their test a few weeks ago so my cover letter must have been fine. I included the address, phone etc. but without 'headers' as such, and uploaded it with my name at the top as a pdf in Times New Roman. Hope that helps

Why the Event: It's important to highlight what you hope to gain from attending the dinner specifically - such as meeting Weil lawyers in a more personal setting, understanding how the firm's culture comes across beyond an open day, or speaking with alumni from UCL and LSE to gain their perspective.
3. Personal Connection: I would make sure to end your answer by linking it your own career goals or academic interests (e.g. your studies or extra-curriculars have sparked an interest in private equity, and you want to explore how Weil's work aligns with that). This is how you make your answer tailored and personal, and reinforces your motivations for attending by using real-life examples.

I would keep your answer genuine and concise - they're mainly looking for enthusiasm and a clear motivation for choosing Weil specifically (by showing that you have conducted research on the firm).

nope not at all! no problem tbh I think they're more concerned with what you're actually writing rather than the exact formatting of the letter itself

You should still apply! I applied on Tuesday and got invited to the Simulate (2nd stage test) yesterday, so they seem to review the applications pretty fast

for TW question: 'Taylor Wessing has its core values (Excellence, Creativity, Responsibility, Teamwork, Integrity and Respect). Tell us, through an example, how you have displayed one of these. {provide answer of 2500 characters}' Are they specifically looking for only one example, or can I put two? Also should I tie it back to TW using case studies, etc.?
