I just checked my apps and last cycle I also applied for 2 schemes- spring and summer together and got an SJT inviteI have no idea but it allowed me to select multiple VS. Maybe I’ve lost the ability to read so won’t get considered 😂

Oh thank goodness 😭Spoke to Milbank today at a uni law fair, they said the assessment is basically an SJT and no VI
Weird!Oh gosh, I was shocked as I couldn't do that on the form since it allowed me to select one VS only. Will they open online OD soon? I saw threads from last year that they opened it, especially for those based abroad and local who got rejected.
I don't bother for PFO as it was my first app ever for VS and the only winter one. I felt it was not outstanding app like the rest which I put more effort on them
It's quite intense, you need to work quickly, if you aren't sure though don't waste lots of time on a question. Good luck with it - you've got this!Has anyone got any insights or advice into the taylor wessing test? Need to do it today and feeling a bit nervous!!
Ikr, I saw their FAQs state if you can apply one VS and multiple ODs, maybe it's outdated like Weil. I didn't quite remember exactly why I can select one only.Weird!
Oct OD deadline has passed, but deadline for Nov OD is 2 Nov
I see that I’m eligible to reapply within this cycle, so assuming I don’t have to do the arctic shores again? Hello summer app 💀NRF PFO post VI. Expected but sucks![]()
Hm.. tbf I doubt they've reviewed the applications before sending out the 2nd test. It seemed automatic to whoever passed their benchmarks for that long Stage 1 test.Yes they do! The first test and the application form are a combined Stage 1, and you need to pass Stage 1 to receive the 2nd test. Congrats!
I applied on the 17th of September, and received the WG invite Oct 19... The good thing about DLA Piper is they actually send you your results after the WG so it gives you an idea of if you're on to the next stage.. .how long did it take for everyone to get the DLA WG? Applied a couple weeks ago and have heard nothing, wondering if it’s a PFO
For Hogan Lovells, the first test is automatic - if you pass this, you get the second test. Then, they will review the second test and application to see if they want to progress you to AC.Yes they do! The first test and the application form are a combined Stage 1, and you need to pass Stage 1 to receive the 2nd test. Congrats!
I just did mine this morning!! Waiting on reply. All the best - how did it go?Has anyone heard from Sidley post AC?
CONGRATS!! I just did my AC this morning - how long did it take for them to get back to you?Sidley WVS)

thanks, have you heard back post wg?It was a VI last year but they have now changed it to a short telephone interview (10-15 minutes) that assesses your motivation and alignment to the firm’s values![]()
