this was London and says last updated on the day after I got the email saying I passed their WG
@ttlaw12344 Hi! Congrats on passing their WG test! May I please ask when you applied, what your report said ("Strength to leverage", "Further exploration", "Opportunity for development"), and when you got the email saying you passed their WG test? I am asking about this as I have not heard anything from them since I took their WG test, so I was thinking that I might not have passed their WG test. 😅 Thank you.

:( I'll take your word for it then (also don't worry, that just wasn't the place for you - head up, shoulders back, and onwards we go!) 🤞fingers crossed we get some good news soon to pump our inboxes with some excitement
Thanks! It wasn't a firm I was particularly excited about, to be honest, but I've decided to give it a try anyway, haha.

Yesss, at least one AC at this point will do 😃😃

Hello! I am just about to submit my application for FieldFisher VS
I was just reviewing my application and I am slightly worried as as the questions have such a low word count (800 characters/ 130ish words) I am worried I have not been thorough enough in either showing my knowledge of the firm and selling myself.

For example, for a Q like this - 'Describe the personal event or experience that, more than anything else, made you realise your desire to work in a law firm and specifically at Fieldfisher. (800 characters)' How should I split talking about my skills / personal experience with the knowledge of the firm?
Hi @CupOfTea17 there is no universal ideal word split here, as it will depend heavily on the details of the experience you want to describe and on how easily you can present the relevant features of the firm. That said, based on the wording of the question, I do think there is a heavier emphasis on the personal experience element of it. As such, all other things being equal, I think you should aim to use more space on describing the experience in detail - perhaps something in the range of an 80/50 split would work well.
