AO Shearman's practice test correct answer has opened my eyes a lot: To show adaptability, you need to ask your colleague to help you out first. I was always under the impression that it would indicate a lack of initiative and trying to push your work on others

See I would be careful because this is very scenario specific, if it’s your first seat or first task in the seat or something you’ve never done you should definitely ask, but if your in your final seat or more experienced you should have a go first, is how I tend to attack it

Skadden have been quite clear and prompt with communication so I honestly do not expect anyone to get any news till atleast next week, I think everyone would most likely hear back on the 16th

Exactly!! I used to have the same thought process, until I realised just like yourself, that they really do value things like teamwork, initiative, and accountability. And yes there are several practice test portals for different firms specifically for cappfinity @elle woods, you can use those

I have used them, but iirc they don't really give you the "correct" answers 😭 and I wouldn't know if that is what the firm is looking for without the firm actually reviewing it haha, that's the issue

I see apps like dating and relationships, there's no point in chasing a non-responsive person, it just drains your energy and love... the way to go is being nonchalant at this point 🤣and if it's not meant to be or not the right timing, then so be it

So annoyed with myself spent all week prepping Goodwin and about to submit it and I missed the deadline by 1.5 hour!!! Guessing its probs not worth emailing them? Same thing for Ashurst!!

I was surprised to learn that the deadline was in the afternoon, as it’s usually 23:59 for most firms.

This made me realise that Ashurst has already closed their applications for the Summer Vac Scheme at noon today instead of the typical midnight. I was in the middle of writing up my application for them! I've never closed my laptop so fast 😭😭😭😭

Every time I see a notif pop up I panic thinking it’s an app update, only to open gmail and see it’s yet another UberEats, Deliveroo and JustEat discount code and promo email…​

Small update: I fell for the gmail bait and ordered myself UberEats. Yet again I got distracted and am doing everything except my apps. Now I am back at my desk with more snacks and I will defo get a crack on with this stuff now (I hope) lmao. 🥲​
