afaik tw tends to release their written exercises all at once! for spring they released them a couple weeks ago, but for summer wont be till the new year (unless you did not meet the benchmark for the test- in which case you would have been rejected already)
therefore no news is def good news!

When I did the Kirkland VI last year, it was 3 questions. I'm pretty sure it was more than 15 seconds to prepare (30 if memory serves me correctly!). If you have any other questions about the VI, just reply to this

I was thinking of getting it done today or tomorrow too because man at least leave one day for me yknow? LOL the actual reason is because I have 2 essays due so the earlier I get this done the earlier I can get those done too 😂

Is it safe to assume that if you haven’t heard back from Kirkland it’s a PFO?
I wouldn’t be too fast to assume, esp since their deadline was so close to Christmas - they might’ve not had the time to review every application yet…perhaps
Also maybe it depends on if you applied for spring or summer?
Not sure if this will apply this cycle, but last cycle VI release was staggered!
I didn’t realise there was an option to pick spring or summer?😭 it was just ‘Vacation Scheme 2026’ for me
Last year they were sending VIs till early Jan for VS and early Feb for DTC.

I am going to take the “numbers game” approach this year so I’m gonna have to speed up now because the applying to lesser firms approach didn’t work for me, I’ve graduated from uni now and really want to get a tc asap😭
I’ve sent around 18 so far since Sept and want to send around 9-10 more for VS. I know there are mixed feelings about how many firms is a decent number. Some people will try say less than 10 to ensure each app is of the highest quality, others say send at least 50 cos it’s a numbers game.
I think it should be both as there’s truth to either honestly. I’ve tried to find a balance between the two so I rly want to send around 25-30 apps. This whole process is competitive so I guess trying to maximise your chances is fair game? Ultimately do what works best for you individually.
It’s hard to balance apps with other responsibilities like working and/or studying but the effort is gna be worth it in the end when we get our TCs!
