I applied soo early in the cycle, got my VI invite on 03/11. But i was very confused to see that someone with a higher SJT score than me got a PFO, but I still haven’t heard anything yet …
Yeah I’m in a similar situation to you. I applied for the Weil VS early Nov and received the SJT and VI on 24/11. I sat the SJT on 14/12 and did the VI with early careers on 17/12. I’ve seen people applied after me and/or who took the test after me get sent PFOs so idek what to think tbh.

Seems like a good sign! I don’t think anyone has gotten AC’s yet

What's your score? I applied 11/10 and still haven't heard either after sitting the test in 24/11. I think I was answering in 90 secs each question which far below the max time of 2-3 minutes. My amberjack overall score is only 24, so pretty mediocre as I treated it as a warm up for this cycle.

    Hi @Afraz Akhtar
I understand this isn't really your expertise area but I was wondering if it’s okay to request a quieter room for preparing for presentations. I get quite anxious preparing in crowded spaces, and a different room would really help me concentrate better. I don’t have a formal diagnosis, but I wanted to ask if this is usually accommodated at law firms. Or will this be viewed negatively?
Hi @FutureTraineeMaybe I'm assuming this is for an AC of some sort, in which case I think its worth asking in advance, so that they can see if a room is available/assessor to sit in with you. You should explain that its for anxiety purposes as such requests aren't usually given for no reason, and I'd be surprised if anyone asks for a formal diagnosis letter because the truth is, many things are undiagnosed - it doesn't mean they don't exist. In either event, there is no harm in asking and this will not be viewed negatively. Good luck with the presentation!

I have an AC next week, I was told I would be given more details in the new year but have not received anything yet, should I email grad rec?
Hey @alphabravocharlie I would wait until tomorrow, Wednesday is usually a good day to hear back when it comes to these sort of things. However, by 2pm if you hear nothing then send them a gentle nudge just to make sure nothing was missed.

Ik this has been asked numerously, but is Milbank’s stage 1 a normal SJT+ 2 app qs? Is the SJT amberjack ?

I've not applied but I know this information so I will consolidate what I've learned from this thread for you 😂

Yes, it's a SJT and 2 timed written questions. 20 mins to write each answer. The SJT is their own, I believe it's on Shortlister, so not an Amberjack. Stage 2 is a WG.
