Workshop/Open Day Application

Hi Guys,

I am currently applying for open days and workshops and I was wondering if you could give some tips.
How do you approach questions like "why do you want to attend this open day?" and how should structure my cover letter?

Cover letter is the same as most cover letters, why the firm, why the opportunity you are applying to, why you (doesn't necessarily need to be in that specific order, just what it needs to cover).

If you have to answer a seperate question on why you want to attend the open day, you don't have to repeat this in your cover letter.

"Why you want to attend the open day" answers are very much down to the individual. All it is basically asking you is to explain how you think you will benefit from attending the open day. For one candidate, they may not have had the opportunity to meet the firm, for the next they might have met the firm but want to get a deeper insight before applying, for the next they may want to develop their skills/knowledge via the interactive sessions.
