I'd say it depends where your interests lie and where you would ideally like to do a TC. I think your reasoning and explanation is sound about having more learning opportunities in the new role but also understand your concerns re prestige. At the end of the day though as long as you can justify...
I've always had the opportunity to ask questions. Definitely make the most of it and plan what you want to ask ahead of time as I also always panic and forget everything 😂
I can second this on paralegal roles outside London. I was in a very similar position to you @TChopeful but managed to secure multiple paralegal offers over the summer for firms outside London. Currently paralegalling and can feel the difference it's making to my apps this cycle!
Yes so did I and I challenged it with GR in my feedback call but was assured all candidates' performance was too close in the VS that they had to go back to the AC feedback instead 🤷♀️ Didn't get any feedback at all on the mini VS/essentially 2 day AC 🙄 All very frustrating but made it clear...

Not a silly question at all! I've been advised that prose is better than bullet points in general in these applications, so I'd go with paragraphs personally :)
Hey, I don't really have any very helpful advice but just wanted to sympathise! I'm in a v similar position, I worked in PR for 4 years and I thought that background would appeal more to firms than it seems to - I was delivering professional services to clients and have a ton of really relevant...
I do from last year - there were two stages, an interview and an AC, I got to the AC but got rejected after that. As far as I remember, it all happened really quickly - the interview happened within days of being invited to it, then I heard back within a few days with an invite to the AC, which...
Thank you! It's looking at: Making Effective Decisions, Communicating and Influencing, Managing a Quality Service, Delivering at Pace, and Working Together. The link Jessica shared was really helpful in understanding it, but I'm just wondering how specific/general to be. For context, I've got 4...
