At what point should I follow up with a training contract application, I applied around 10 weeks ago now and the deadline was May 29 and haven’t heard anything since the confirmation of application submission email. I know firms get a huge amount of applications so I understand it isn’t going to...
If the Latham deadline is 12 July, does that mean its midnight tonight or 11:59 tomorrow, just wanna know if I have time to read over my app again tomorrow after work or if I should do so tonight...
Has anyone heard anything from Orrick at all?
Its been a few weeks since the deadline and I submitted a few weeks before that and haven't had anything more than the confirmation of my application email.
This is a little of topic but does relate to TC apps, I’m currently debating deffering an LPC exam, M&A elective, to sit in august rather than June as I have an urgent neurology referral hospital appointment at the same time. I’d rather have the exam hanging over me than questions about my...
Nope, I think I'm just going to wait and see if I make it to the next stage, as with yourself I don't know how useful knowing my score would be outside of that.
I completely get that, without being arrogant I normally do very well in WG, my lowest score has been 86 percentile, but I'm absolutely terrified that this is the time I have done badly. It is done now so hopefully we wont be waiting too long to find out the results and if we've made it to the...
I read the email saying we’d hear in two weeks as to say if we were invited to WG we would get an interview if we met or exceeded the benchmark score, indicating that the WG would be the decider. But that could just be my interpretation. I’d be interested to hear what anyone thinks or knows!
It took longer than two weeks for me to hear, I got that email 12 Jan then invite to WG 3 Feb. Maybe email grad recruitment and see what’s happened there, I would in your position.
Post WG? Or the initial app, they sent a bunch of PFOs and WG invites last Tuesday, 3rd feb. I believe everyone is still waiting to hear post WG as the deadline for completion hasn’t yet passed.
You can free text type in the letter grades section, I just typed 1st or 2:1 depending on the module then put the percentage in the number grade value box next to it. I don't know if that was correct, but given UK universities don't give letter grades.
I know when I did GCSEs the papers were different levels, this was 11/12 years ago though (please don’t calculate my age, I’m a bit older than a majority of TC hunters) It doesn’t correlate to the grades you received but does decide what grades you could get. I took higher papers and the grades...
Has anyone heard back from NRF yet? I received the message on 12 Jan stating they would review apps in the next 2 weeks and let people know if they were successful at this stage to invite them to WG and nothing since.
