If it is untimed then there should be no element of time completed included in the assessment. That is different to if there is unlimited time, as that suggests you have got the freedom to complete the assessment in your own time but that the assessment results may be calculated with a timed...
Did the assessment say it was untimed? If so, then no.
If it said there was an unlimited amount of time, then there may be some form of element of reviewing time completed into the assessment, but it’s hard to know this for definite as it will vary from firm to firm.
Society roles are not employment (and generally should not be in your work experience section), so wouldn’t be requested.
I have seen references requested for some volunteer roles - it usually depends on the organisation, the nature of your role and how long you did it for.
For self-employment...
No difference at all if they are on the same day. Go with the time that works best for you. I am not a morning person, so I would choose the afternoon but some people find the opposite and prefer doing these things first!
They can do - it depends on the nature of the client. If they are a regular client, then this would work while if it was a one of project/purchase it may not.
Longlisted means it’s just a larger group of candidates rather than a shortlist. A shortlist may only be a handful of candidates, while a long list maybe a large group of candidates that are then whittled down to how many they need to interview.
it is best to ask for adjustments ahead of these assessments rather than after they have been completed. It maybe that you will need to do the assessment again of you do request the adjustment. Some firms may choose to ignore your results completely and effectively create the adjustment by...
I would challenge whether the number is relevant or important to the point you are making in your application. You don’t have to tell the firm how many offices they have and i think it’s hard for anyone to explain what that specific number of offices is important to their motivations/reasons for...
I definitely wouldn’t close the window. You can take time between questions though if there is unlimited time to prepare, I would just keep the window open and the platform running.
I wouldn’t say any job has sway in an application form on its own, but it will be a good role to have on your application form/CV and will show a lot of transferable skills.
I’d just explain it in the mitigating circumstances or additional information section rather than adding it to the other degree. I strongly suspect you can add more than one degree though.
It’s difficult to know as law firms will all have different criteria. However, if you are aware of it, I would just try to consciously make an effort to create more engagement in your tone.
It sounds crazy, but one thing I encourage people to do is have a picture/image of something you like...
I would not include society roles.
The law tutoring is a bit of a grey area, but I suspect they mean providing legal advice in any capacity rather than topic.
Not necessarily - some firms will ask technical questions more generally. I just think most don't - it may have just been that particular firm (or even interviewer's) approach to the process.
Can happen but tends to be rare. When it does happen, its usually because you have experience, whether it be work experience or academics related to the topic included in your application though.
