Just a quick update, we've now included salaries for all the law firms on the insights page:

Thanks @Jonty for the suggestion!
Just FYI it wasn't all one way up. There were countless rejections before and during those interviews, so I know how rubbish they can feel. Especially when you think you did a good job on the app/in the interview. That's true of all the trainees I know - there's always a string of rejections...
I can see A&O doing this – they seem to be very open minded in the way they run their business – but for the more traditional UK firms and many of the US firms, I’d be surprised if the more senior lawyers were open to it. I can see them being worried about their competitiveness, especially as...
Brilliant insights, Jonty, thank you for taking the time to share this. Apologies in advance for the many questions, there’s so much good content in there!
Interesting that Fuse are interested in using tech to improve work/life balance. If that happens, that’ll be a real breakthrough – I think...

For that question, I'd limit the answer to a couple of competitors - one paragraph per firm -...
I would recommend it, although as I'm sure you know, the property prices are very high!
It depends. If I was there late, it was usually because there was a closing or an urgent deadline coming up. If there was still stuff to do, then I'd come in normal time. If it was all done, I'd be told I...

I'm keen to hear what content you'd like to see so I've created an anonymous poll...
It was quite variable. On average, I would start at 9am and end at 8/9pm. Some days I'd end a bit earlier (7pm) and some later (3am).
It helped to see it as a team effort - it wasn't just me working late some days, but my supervisor and other trainees were also doing their best to get things...
