They usually have a fit to sit policy which means you typically have to declare illness before the assessment rather than retrospectively unfortunately.
Paralegal sponsorship is exceptionally difficult to obtain.
Many paralegal roles will not meet the requirements of the visa conditions.
Those that do, can often be filled by UK talent, and given how high attrition rates are with paralegals, few firms will consider sponsoring a paralegal...
They don’t charge you, they charge the firm a percentage of your base salary once you are hired (usually somewhere between 15-25%).
Agencies will vary according to location, legal area you are working in etc.
Are you about the qualify in the next year? If not, please do not worry about any of...
Then I think you would need to apply your preferences to this decision rather than blanket who is best. What could be best for one person could be a disaster for the next.
They are all amazing firms and training with any of them is going to set you up for a lot of potential success in a legal...
There is no set rules to this.
Some hiring is just done through professional networks (for instance if you have been the otherwise of a deal and the other firm thinks you are good)
Some hiring is done directly via firms’ recruitment departments.

Not really that I know of - I suspect because it’s actually a fairly small world and you’d be more identifiable talking about firms/what you were applying for.
Reddit tends to have a few threads on these type of topics though.
What type of things do you want to know about the lateral hiring...
Typically you will need to perform to a certain level in these tests. There is likely to be a minimum threshold and then anything above that will be weighed up against over evidence of your capabilities from what you have done as a vac schemer.
I don't think one is better than the other - I'd probably look at how the course and assessments are run (historically there have been differences in this which means one course might be better suited to one person better than the next), location of the courses and work out which one is best for...
Please do not worry about this - explain to the firm you are in exams and that it will effectively be a two day trip for you and will be at a time you need to focus on your exams. If they don't understand this, no matter how much you like the firm now this would be a very strong indicator to me...
Getting fired from a job is not a good option to go with.
It should be something where you didn't achieve what you wanted or needed to accomplish.
However, it needs to be something substantial - it can't be something that is insignificant. There needs to be something you can learn from the...
I don’t think it’s an issue if it is an older example as long as the failure is something is significant to where you are now (eg stating a failed GCSE grade is probably something to avoid as it is unlikely to have impacted where you are now).
Salaries are unlikely to increase every year. Sometimes salaries have remained fairly flat for several years, and so it could easily be what your offer letter states. Salaries may be reviewed regularly but it doesn’t mean that a salary increases because of it.
I would therefore expect to get...
If it’s part of an application form like this, then I don’t think it is needed. It’s only really if you are applying just with a CV and cover letter with no online form that the address formalities are needed
Highly unlikely that you’ll be able to do manage a full-time job and the GDL full-time too - some people do the GDL part time alongside working full timebut that would take you two years instead of one and therefore delay your start date by a year.
Even if you attempted it, I am not sure why...
