    Ask A Graduate Recruiter Anything!

Hi Jessica, Hope you're well. Thanks for all your invaluable advice on the forum! I'm currently writing a Cover Letter to Orrick. It's 500 words but I'm confused as to what to include within it as the other questions on the App include what would usually go into a CL. Orrick say the CL is...

Hearing Back from Law Firms, Assessment Centres & Interview Tips - 2019 - 2020

Best thing that I started doing was working on other apps and try to submit them. Worst case scenario if you get rejected, you know that you have other options so I'd recommend that. If not that, start making plans with your friends and start getting out the house and doing stuff. You'll still...

Hearing Back from Law Firms, Assessment Centres & Interview Tips - 2019 - 2020

Yeah it's very common for Links to ask for supporting documentation. I did the same for my AC last year and sent them all the documents I had. I guess the more you can send the better but it's a very routine thing from law-firms

Hearing Back from Law Firms, Assessment Centres & Interview Tips - 2019 - 2020

Oh God, it's the worst when you've spent so long on app and think it's amazing for you to only get rejected by some online test. All part of the game unfortunately... but one part I really REALLY really hate :/

Hearing Back from Law Firms, Assessment Centres & Interview Tips - 2019 - 2020

In one interview I had, I really got along with the Associate. We had a lot of common ground e.g. coming from the same county, going to the same places, etc so I sent a thank you e-mail. If you feel like you really built a rapport then I don't see why not. But, I don't think sending or not...
