Is this a reasonable question to ask at the end of an interview? I'm worried it might be a dumb question/provoke a very short response.
In short, private equity firms buy distressed companies, make improvements to increase its profitability, then sell (exit) about 5 years later = profit.
That's just my theory, it might not be the case, Jessica will know more. But its definitely not futile, if its between applying or not, apply.

I think its never really futile, i got invited to AC for HL WVS in DECEMEBER, like a week before it starts.
It just becomes increasingly competitive I think, unless you specifically want the WVS date then probs go spring imo.
I've emailed the graduate recruitment at DLA Piper for similar issues and they were super helpful, might be worth shooting them an email explaining just to be sure.
I think the answer is yes it is important to like working with people who disagree with your opinions, at least in the superficial responses they want for these tests. I dont believe this refers to political beliefs, more so practical legal solutions and incorporating a diverse range of opinions...
