Fwiw, I contacted them on Monday, as I realised I had been sent a VI invite but had not received it. They resent in and reset it yesterday, and I completed it the same day.
This would suggest the ACs are not yet finalised.

My application was for all Spring failing that Summer VS.
They said "
If you have applied for a vacation scheme, we will be in touch in early February.
"
Sent 3 January
Proofreading task sent 30 January to be completed by 5 February. Completed 3 February.

Received a 'we are still checking applications' email from Slaughters:
Thank you for applying to Slaughter and May, and we apologise for not being able to get back to you yet with a decision on your training contract application.
We received a very high number of applications just before the...
Just got (virtual) AC from Farrer:
Following your performance in the proofreading task, we would like to offer you a place on one of our virtual Assessment Mornings.
We will be holding four Assessment Mornings with around 25 applicants attending each one. From the 100 or so candidates that...
I can only see it as an attempt to warm up candidates. By asking an easy question but saying "this will be reviewed", people will put effort in, and by the time the real question comes they may be more focused and less nervous than if you told them "this is junk, nobody will watch it".
I just did Gateley.
It was a little weird because there was a "starter" question, which they said would be reviewed but not marked!?
There were then two further questions were 3 minutes prep, 2 minutes to answer, one a "commercial awareness" and one a personality. Nothing Gateley-specific...

2) talk about your positions of responsibility, ditto
3) talk about an achievement of importance, ditto

Just got the Milbank AC. Can't quite believe it, but here we are.
For those who are wondering, I applied on the 31st at 2:30am, so just less than 24 hours before the deadline.
Also, the ACs are full days THIS WEEK, which I guess is why they are doing it over the weekend, lol.
Just did the NRF Arctic Shores. Worse than my previous attempt, lol.
They had the face emotion game, the top/bottom even/odd round/straight shape game, the arrow direction left/right/x game, and the rotate the shapes game. No safecracking.
I hope Arctic Shores dies soon.
thanks, yes i did read up and it LOOKS like maybe they are testing things more like getting distracted, so e.g., the WRONG xs are designed to make you feel stressed and if you just ignore them and maintain a certain level of performance without getting flustered then it's perhaps more the key...
