Hey guys, if asked about at an interview with a firm about a recent deal of theirs that interests you, should you only stick to a deal that involved that particular office (in this case the London office)? Also, is it a good approach to talk about a deal which interests you due to your interest...
Thanks. I guess for questions like "why this firm" and "why you" I thought it would be a good idea to give two or three reasons and back my reasons up with personal experiences.
Hi @Jessica Booker
I have a partner interview coming up and I'm wondering how long each response to a question should be. I'm currently around 2-3 minutes as I'm giving about 2-3 detailed answers in response and I'm wondering if that's too long.
Currently preparing for an upcoming interview which will include a verbal commercial case study. However, it seems like we will not be receiving any documents/information on the case study ahead of the interview. Has anyone come up against this kind of on-the-spot case study in previous...

Hey guys - does anyone have an example of a written analytical exercise or any tips on how I can prepare for one. Would appreciate any useful resources. thanks
Hi Naomi
Thanks for the response. This is exactly the problem I was having - seems that there's a few different ways you could interpret a question like this. For instance, my initial reasoning was that it is geared at testing your commercial awareness so I would have just spoke about a...
Yes it is. I was thinking about talking about a semiconductor manufacturer I've been following and their unique history and positioning currently due to the global chip shortage and US pressures (both economic and political). But I started thinking maybe that kind of question would be asking...
Doing some interview prep and focusing on commercial awareness. How would you approach a question that asked what business other than a law firm you are interested in? Heard a few conflicting approaches so just trying to get more views on this.
