Hi all. If you've got a VS at a firm which only do Spring (or make TC offers after Spring), are they likely to hold any TC offers open if you have summer VS's too? Surely they're going to understand you want to complete those too? Thanks!
Congrats!
For my VS it was two days, but I guess it depends on the size of the intake, and whether the firm is responding to all candidates in one go. So could obviously be longer.
Withers have only just finished interviews for the Summer Vac, and the Grad Recruitment team are now working on organising the spring scheme (I believe). It could be ages until they get back to people about direct TC.
Thanks Andrei. Would you recommend including upcoming vacation schemes on your direct TC applications to try and boost your ‘legal experience’ element?

I’m going to be a bit of a strategist and say look at what the firm does, and which areas are busiest at the moment if you can. You can use this alongside a list of seats you think you’ll like!
After all, law firm businesses, and it may help your case if you show interest in a growth area for...
I think your answer should be pretty firm specific.
Most firms have their own distinctive identity and won’t want to be grouped together as an ‘American firm’ surely?
