It starts on 28th doesn't it? I'd say there's still some time left tbh. I'm pretty sure that the accepted people will get contacted next week and they'll leave the pfos until later
Vac schemes are mostly(?) held outside term time so you don't have to miss your classes.. I don't think you need any kind of sponsorship to attend the vac scheme as long as you're still at uni?
Emailed grad rec today and they didn't give a definite answer. Standard "we're in the process of screening applications and will be in touch again soon" 😩
Hi @Jessica Booker - could you please point me to some posts regarding ACs (specifically with Farrers or any other mainly private client firm)? The AC consists of an individual written exercise and a group case study exercise. It's my first AC so don't know what to expect
It doesn't look like they're going according to dates of submission... The person on this forum who got their AC applied on 31 January - I applied in December and still haven't heard back.. either it's a rejection or they're going in some random order
Just did my VI with CRS and blanked out for 10 seconds 😀 gutted because I really wanted to get through but it was my first VI so idk good practice maybe lol.
Edit: this happened because there was a loud banging on my door. Should I email grad rec informing them about this? Will this be taken...
Hey, yes it's due tomorrow at 11:59. If you click the link they sent, you'll get an invitation from Shortlister and then you'll also get reminder emails - I just got mine saying I had about 24 hours left (and it mentioned the exact time too)
does anyone know if the CRS VI is competency-based or strengths-based? There's also no guidance on whether there will be commercial questions so don't really know what to expect...
