From what I've seen, it's quite common. As a graduate who attended several ACs, I noticed that most participants were either in their final year of university or had already graduated. Don't let this deter you! Furthermore, many firms I've interacted with offer the chance to begin your TC...
I absolutely relate to you! I've gone through three rejections after assessment centers, and it's challenging to pinpoint what I need to improve on due to the vague feedback provided. I've noticed that the case study exercises are often where I stumble, but it's tough to get better when there's...
Hello,
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such an encouraging message. It truly means a lot to hear from someone who understands the ups and downs of this journey and who has come out on the other side with a TC.
I completely agree that each person's journey is unique and shouldn't...
Thank you for sharing your experience and insights!! I understand these processes aren't always as personalised as they claim to be.
I did receive a feedback report with my rejection email from HSF, and I was genuinely disappointed. To my surprise, after discussing with someone else from the...
I've just received a rejection email from HSF after attending their AC. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement, especially since I felt the process went rather positively. According to their feedback, I performed well in the scenario-based interview and I really showcased my skills...
Of course, as you may be aware there are three interviews: scenario based interview, case study interview and competency-based interview.

Just wrapped up another application after weeks of dedication - fingers crossed for Travers Smith! 🤞
Might be a bit random to share, but here’s my journey so far:
Aim: Submit 5 applications, 3 assessment centres, 1 or 2 winter vacation schemes. Progress update:
HSF - At the Assessment Centre...
I completely understand! I wished for more time to prepare too, but given that was the only available date... If you receive an invitation, check the dates first. You might have a choice, but if not, don’t hesitate to email the graduate recruitment team immediately. They will certainly be...
There was only one date available for me!! Next Friday, 20 Oct. I think they just allocate you a slot😅 because I didn't have the option to choose another date. However, I'm not sure if this is the same for everyone. (maybe others could choose)
I believe the available date might also depend on...
I am here to confirm this is true. I have just been invited to HSF ASSESSMENT CENTRE!!🥹🥹🥹🥹I am so happy and scared at the same time, I would greatly appreciate any insights or guidance!
Yes, I did!
I don’t know if this means we’ve “passed” the test so they review our application now. (Work experience section + video answers to the questions)
I’m applying to HSF and reading about past experiences and I realised that even worse than not being invited to HSF's assessment centre is being invited to the assessment centre hahaha
Exactly! And when a trainee was showing me around the office she mentioned that many in her cohort were actually her university friends. When I asked about the university she attended, she said Oxford ahaha.
