Personally I aim for no more than 500 words (not saying it has to be 500 words or close if it doesn't need to be). But I agree with Jessica, most cover letters should be no more than a page long, but it also depends on any instructions the firm gives you- FM302989

Is the test under timed conditions? If so, they normally give you a fair amount of time to read and think about each question with time to spare. Have a look at some free practice questions on Assessment Day to really familiarise yourself with how each type of question works. Once you've done...- FM302989

I passed the tests with Herbert Smith Freehills, or 'passed their benchmark', whatever the term is! Anyone had any update from Herbert Smith's with regards to Assessment Centres? Just conscious because the website says they'll be arranged in November and I'll need time off work- FM302989
