I'm not sure on that, I didn't receive a WG and applied early October, others have done, so I think this is just a rejection, which is all cool, another 29 applications to still hear back on!
I applied to both separately - I checked Vantage, and the status is left as submitted, but I had the same after rejection from HSFK so they must not be using Vantage like that or it's not been updated yet.
I'd kind of forgotten that it wasn't really a formal vac scheme, but I assume the facetime really benefits you for a TC application - I did the VIs today, prep time was very short, but also the whole thing takes about 3 mins, so it's not like some of the bigger vac scheme testing regimes.
Not sure I've seen anything on timelines - gutted though I didn't finish the 2nd part, so lost at least 2 points - I practised the calendar thing, but the constant shifting days made it tricky!
My gut says it will be the VIs that are the solution to this - they probably test aptitude for speaking under pressure better but can also demonstrate structure and knowledge but with 2 min prep times you lower the efficacy of AI.
AI! What do they really add when everyone has the potential to write something really well? It’s almost not testing anything anymore though I would argue some will just paste in the word salad it generates without any real substance or personality so probably still some value to questions for now.
I feel a bit like it’s Groundhog Day - I last tried applying in 2010/2011 and only realised recently there was a hangover of great candidates after 2008 crash. Roll on 14 years I decide to go again at probably the worst economic time 😆
