City law firms have more of an international presence work with clients in various jurisdictions complex transactions and deals regional firms focus more within the area they are in for example midlands etc work is sometimes on a smaller scale- Donuttime

yes but I think what they were trying to say is that at the end of the day, commercial lawyers are intedning to make money for a business by working with clients. Pro-bono is only a small part of the role of a commercial lawyer n- Donuttime
