Took the HSF AC for the Winter VS about a fortnight ago (the last ACs were towards the end of last week) - the recruitment people at the AC stated that we'd be told whether we were successful "very quickly, and by the end of the week at the latest", but I still haven't heard anything. How likely...

On the Further Information section under undergraduate results, is it appropriate to talk about academic prizes, or should the section just be limited to extenuating circumstances and similar content?
Thanks so much - just to add, if the word limit is 500 words, do you think it would be an issue if my response only stretched to 250 words or so (given that the question says only to talk about the details and responsibilities of the career events "if necessary")?
@Jessica Booker
Baker McKenzie's application asks us to "list other work experience or career events you have attended" - does this include networking events and law fairs and Bright Network virtual internship experience events?
@Jessica Booker
On the Baker McKenzie form, candidates are asked to discuss "something - anything - that excites and inspires you" - would it be valid to answer this in a similar way to a "What motivates you" kind of question, and talk about how it excites me to go above and beyond what is...
@Jessica Booker @Jaysen
Hi guys - how many questions would you recommend to ask at the end of an interview? Is 1 perfect, or is it advisable to keep going until the interviewer calls time?
@Jessica Booker
Hi everyone - just had a couple of queries about Latham & Watkins' Winter VS:
1. Are applications reviewed on a rolling basis? I'm sure I saw something about it being non-rolling on this forum (might have even been this thread), but I may well be conflating L&W with another...
Would the same go for the company's posting addresses? On the W&C application, there is no formatting option, so I can't place my own posting address to the right of the page - I assume the reason for this is that they don't want people entering their posting address.
Cheers Jessica!
Apologies for going off at a tangent, but in cover letters, is it preferable to include email and phone number as well as addresses of writer recipient (I'm currently writing applications for White & Case and Norton Rose Fulbright, although I think including contact details...
Thanks! Out of interest, on the question entitled "Please detail below any further information that you would like us to consider when reviewing your application", would it be relevant for me to mention having completed Hogan Lovells' Forage scheme?
I'm currently going through the Hogan Lovells application form - on the question about innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, the main example I can think of is organising a panel event as president of my university college's law society (through moving the event online due to COVID, liaising...
@Jessica Booker Apologies for the duplicate post -
I'm in the middle of writing my application for the winter vac scheme at A&O, and had a couple of queries.
Firstly, is it likely that, if I get the application in in the next few hours and do the SJT tomorrow, that I've left it too late (and...

Would it be advisable to limit the cover letter's length to just a page, rather than a page and a half? Their former Legal Recruiting manager recommended the shorter option in a 2015 post on the Warwick Uni Careers Blog...
Sorry if this sounds a bit pedantic, but do you guys reckon it's still okay to address the cover letter to the 'Graduate Resourcing & Development Team' for the current application cycle? As far as I can see, there used to be something on the White & Case website saying something to this effect...
Would you say that somewhere in the region of 700-800 words is acceptable for the cover letter when applying to White & Case's vacation scheme (through writing it out in size 11 font, no additional spacing, before pasting it into the dialogue box, I'm currently covering a page and a half)?
