hi is there anyone i can private chat with about sensitive mitigating circumstances? i sent a message to jessica ages ago but she left the forum only days after my text iirc
you can email them to ask if you've passed or not; same as links
HL used to tell candidates their percentile on the WG too but this cycle they only let people know if they failed/passed
congratulations! 5 cycles finally paying off must feel soo great, well done!!!
as someone facing super sh*tty health issues i've been contemplating giving up but posts like these put my head right back on ❤️🩹 good luck on your tc im sure they got a killer solicitor
congratulations this is so epic!!!!!! posts like yours remind me that the TC app process isn't just a twisted form of rejection therapy but that there is another side, im so happy that you made it there 👊
everyone's bound to make mistakes, i wouldn't be too harsh on yourself about this
on the contrary, i would consider myself lucky if my errors had been typos but of course i had to dap up a partner when he reached for a handshake at an interview
i think the general guideline is if the application page doesn't ask for grades elsewhere, include them on your cv
but cv length is typically recommended to be 2 pages/~950 words, so you should be fine to include them either way
congrats! i did this two cycles ago and at the time there were 3 very predictable questions along the lines of: why you, why the firm, commercial news story
although they might've changed since then, always a good idea to have talking points for these three Qs regardless
congratulations! i can feel your relief and excitement
as someone on this forum once said: you were one of us, and now you aren't. im happy the tides turned in your favour
they are very big on resilience
i went to their AC last year and my top 3 strengths were resilience, collaboration and adaptability
and my weakness was personal responsibility iirc
