On the other hand, CC, which uses the same portal as FF, tends to send PFOs right after the status has changed so idk whether there is still hope or whether FF simply has a different tactics.

To stop the floodgate of apps and make work easier for HR (less apps to read.) Someone has to bear the transaction costs after all. I agree though, it is extremely frustrating for us as applicants.

Any one applied to Freshfields? My application status on the Taleo portal "has been updated" 2 days ago but I have heard nothing from them. I have no idea whether this is a good sign or not. My experience with Taleo tells me that an "update" on the app portal equals an email with the decision...

Thanks, I've emailed them. My issue was a bit different though. After I'd sent the Rare Recruitment form, I could not edit the application. I had to withdraw it and the portal allowed me to re-apply (to continue with the same app) It's sooo weird!
