One tip- don't always prioritise speaking to your supervisor first.
Showing initiative and giving things a go is quite important in these tests. Going to your supervisor on some things is great, when its needed, but other things you rank first diving straight in.
Latham seems to be very quick or even automatic So if you’ve waited for more than a few days after completing stage 1 it’s very likely to be a PFO I am afraid.
Freshfields do seem to take a bit longer- people have waited weeks for stage 2.
First of all, I actually think your application is decent. Willkie is a particularly competitive firm- so your application doesn’t have to be bad to be rejected- just not good enough. But I am sure you are on the right track.
I can sense bits do seem a little bit AI-like. Maybe they picked this...
Everyone stop worrying about Willkie!
1) They’re not rolling and look at every application (as stated on their website).
2) They’ve also got a new graduate recruitment manager (and probably a spike in applications given all their outreach this year), so that should explain any delay in them...
Ok just to gauge where Pinsents are likely at please could you 👍 this message if you’re still waiting, 👎 this message if you got a rejection, and 🏆 this message if you got an AC.
Thank you! ☺️
