2021 GDL will it be online?
Does anyone know if the September 2021 start GDL will be online? Specifically , with BPP? I know the option is there, but would hate to pay central London rent and then find out it's all online anyway.- mpongo

How on earth do some people have 3 TC offers and further Vac Schemes lined up?
I would be careful in supposing that these individuals will make better lawyers in the long run. Doing well on a vac scheme is very different to the reality of working life.- mpongo

Thanks Jessica, that's interesting. Yes, I was under the impression that there was no choice. When you say that some firms can't get all their trainees through the old process, what do you mean? My approach has been to go for firms that are continuing down the tried and tested route. That is to say, go for firms that still put their trainees through the LPC and GDL route. I would say that a general rule is, the bigger the vac scheme (of trainee intake) the more likely it is that grad rec have chosen the forage option. Clifford Chance, Slaughter and May, Latham & Watkins, White & Case, Linklaters, to name a few.- mpongo

Random bit of advice I thought I'd share is, when you're applying for virtual vac schemes. Find out how they're run. If they are run by forage/inside sherpa the actual work experience side of things will be useless. You can get similar things without going through all of the process to get one...- mpongo

It's really important to use that question to your advantage. So even if you have applied to a wide array of firms, if you give a few similar firms that will help a mile.
