Academic Misconduct Finding

Hi all,

I have an academic misconduct finding due to collusion at uni and was just wondering what impact this would likely have on future employment/SRA admission. I asked for help from a fellow student on an assignment and our final works ended up being very similar. At the time I was suffering from a cognitive illness stemming from a medical issue and had only asked to explain content from the slides and course but this had ended up with explanations of the specific assignment which resulted in the similarity. I hadn't realised the extent of the similarity until after the fact. I submitted the medical evidence as mitigation and was forthcoming with the investigation which resulted in a reduced penalty. I am due to do a vacation scheme soon and was just wondering what impact this would have on my career and what I should do. I would be able to provide evidence of rehabilitation and medical evidence. If anyone has been in a similar situation or knows of people who have still been admitted despite similar issues please let me know. Thank you.
