Do firms ask for school transcripts or just Uni?

Hi All! I’m an international candidate and have ACs with two law firms in the UK, one of them with a MC which does not have A Level requirements. My school transcripts are in the native language while university ones are in English and translation services are steep here. Just wanted to know if firms during academic verification ask for school transcripts as well, so I can arrange for timely translations. Would be grateful for any advice, thanks! @Ram Sabaratnam @Andrei Radu @Amma Usman

Hi!

I have done two vac schemes, and neither firm has asked for academic transcript. I think they only ask if you get a TC with them. Even so, they will usually just ask for your University transcript (as some of my friends training at the moment were only asked about their University one).

Hey,

Good question! I was thinking the exact same thing not too long ago. From my experience as a future trainee, the more evidence you have, the better. University Transcript will be a requirement for a TC, and I would say it's useful to have on hand for VS's.

I hope that helps!
