I’m doing the PGDL right now and I’ve got a part-time job! In January, I was working like 10-12 hours per week and it wasn’t too bad but bc of lockdown, I wasn’t actually socialising really so I felt like I wasn’t dealing with too many commitments. Also, my work’s online so I don’t have to commute either. Overall I think it’s definitely manageable but I suppose it depends on how much you’re willing to sacrifice. However, I do think £10,000 should be enough tbh bc ik a lot of people who’ve managed to make that amount work whilst living in London :)

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced doing the GDL full time and working part time?

I am hoping to start the GDL in September after recently obtaining a TC offer. However I am worried the 10k maintenance grant from the firm won't be enough to cover my London rent, day to day expenses and supporting my family.

I know the course is super demanding but I just wanted to see if anyone else managed to do well on the GDL and work part time.

I am especially concerned given the fact the GDL has been further condensed at BPP into the PGDL from september which means even less time to prepare for exams because of the shorter academic year (Sept-April)
Hello, i want to know that how can i secure a law firm job while studying so that i can have this opportunity?
& another one is - which course is better PGDL or LLM, if i want to cover my Accomodation & others expenses by doing job alongside?? Please help me out.
