I know hours vary hugely by firm/ department team so it is hard tk generalise, but nonetheless, which departments in law firms usually have the nicest hours? And which have the worst?

I know hours vary hugely by firm/ department team so it is hard tk generalise, but nonetheless, which departments in law firms usually have the nicest hours? And which have the worst?

Typically advisory teams have fewer/more stable hours (employment, tax). Transactional teams will usually have longer hours and more unpredictable hours, with really peaks of busy periods.

The more international the work, the more likely the hours will be early late to account for deadlines across time zones too.
