Received an interview invite from Hugh James for their summer placement scheme. Was wondering if anyone has any advice/tips that would help me prepare! Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi! Yes I have x In all honesty, I don't think it went well. Some of the questions really threw me off, I didn't complete any of the timed questions, so at this point leaving it God. How was yours x

I've also received an interview invitation from Hugh James for their summer placement scheme at their Cardiff Office. They said it is going to be 15 minutes long. Has anyone had experience as to what kind of questions they would ask? I'd appreciate any tips you guys can give me!

I don't know if this is helpful but I did a 15 min interview in 2022 and they asked me my thoughts about Elon Musk becoming the new owner of Twitter (X) and its link to freedom of speech, and what thoughts I had on it. I tanked that question. My friend, who also had an interview with them, was following the whole debate around twitter/X at that time and smashed the question.

oh wow, wasn't expecting that. did you or your friend end up securing the vac scheme if you don't mind me asking?

I unfortunately didn't but she did. I don't think she's on this forum so apologies that I can't be of further help
