Hi everyone,

I’m Sue from Revise SQE, and Jason has very kindly invited us to join the TCLA SQE community, so I thought I’d start by introducing myself and telling you a little bit about us.

Revise SQE publishes revision guides and practice assessment books for SQE1 and SQE2. We’re a small independent legal publisher and, although you may not have come across us before, our books are used by SQE students studying with a wide range of course providers, as well as those preparing independently.

We’d really like our presence here to be useful rather than simply another place to tell you about our books, so we’re going to be sharing some free resources and running regular giveaways.

Each week, we’ll share a free SQE1 MCQ for you to have a go at and discuss. We’ll also give away a set of our SQE1 Practice Assessment books each week, with the winner able to choose print or eBooks.

And once a month, we’ll have a bigger giveaway for a complete set of our SQE1 revision guides and Practice Assessment books.

I’ll also be around in the forum, so if you have questions about our books, what might be useful for your particular stage of preparation, or anything else Revise SQE related, please feel free to ask.

It’s lovely to be here, and I’m looking forward to getting to know the TCLA community.

Hi Sue, thanks for joining!

Revise SQE is a very well regarded series and often recommended between students aiming to boost their studies. I've appreciated the mix of both essential exam knowledge and additional case law background to help the facts sink in with extra context.

The books are also affordable, which is additionally attractive for people who are self-funding. I'm an associate university lecturer (non-law, non-legally qualified), and I took a chance by self-funding SQE1 ahead of a career change. Revise SQE has been a very valuable support on this journey.

Hopefully I'll have a training contract by the time SQE2 comes along, but either way I'll be sure to buy the next series of books!

Hey Sue,

As a current SQE student, I've heard various people give their praises to ReviseSQE and mention how useful your resources have been in some of them achieving top scores across SQE 1 & 2. It's great to have you here and I'm looking forward to engaging with your posts and potentially utilising ReviseSQE resources myself once I start my SQE prep course in a couple of weeks!

Hi Sue,

Fantastic to see that Revise SQE is actively helping the community it strives to be part of (and is !). I have heard great things about Revise SQE, and this really reinforces my impression that the organisation has its priorities in the right place. Thank you!
