Hey guys, bit worried about SQE1 test centres after some horror stories I heard. Can anyone advise where they did their exam in London and whether you would recommend them?

Recommendation of SQE1 Test Centres in London

Hiya @legally.brunette ! Full disclosure, I have not sat my SQE1 yet. However, I have a few friends who have, and I have heard specifically good things about the Southwark test centre (small group, relaxed atmosphere etc.) It would be great to hear from others who have sat SQE1 and hear experiences about different locations!
Hi Kay! Is this the one on Walworth Road or the one by London Bridge?
Did SQE at the large centre at Shadwell- Tobacco docks. Was all SQE, the large nature means it was well run and you could meet some new people (and easy to get to) rather than sharing a driving theory centre with people doing 40 minute tests!
Just submitted my seat reservation form for SQE1 in January 2025 a few days ago. I went into it thinking we had to list specifically which test centres we wanted but turns out they only asked us for a postcode and our date preferences.
I currently rent near Canary Wharf thereabouts too so just put my current rental postcode down, so hopefully I get assigned Tobacco Dock, as I have heard from other places that it is a good test centre.
There is a test centre only 10 minute walk away from my postcode (Thomas Road in Limehouse) so not sure if I will get that instead. Looks like a small test centre and the Google reviews look really bad so I am a bit concerned.
I guess we will only find out when booking reopens on 11 November? Does anyone know if we will get a chance to request for a different test centre, and will that also involve changing test dates if we want to change location?
