When COVID disrupted my career as a qualified personal trainer, I transitioned into community governance—collaborating with the Mayor of Newham and subsequently earning a Citizen Social Science certification. That exposure to public-sector leadership inspired my return to education as a mature student with an unwavering drive to succeed.

At Birkbeck, I earned top marks in EU and Cyberspace Law and conducted research on AI regulation and contract risk. Mentorship from Goldman Sachs Executive Group Counsel and Clifford Chance solicitors gave me a clear vision of high-stakes corporate practice.

Through client management and reaching the national finals of the Squire Patton Boggs Negotiation Competition, I developed rigorous attention to detail and a solution-oriented mind-set. Handling live asylum cases at the Refugee Law Clinic further grounded my legal drafting in high-stakes environments. Notably I met a Weil lawyer at Howden Group HQ who informed me that was part of the cross border team that drafted the 800 page contract for the largest tech deal between Microsoft and Activision worth $75 Billion; an inspiratìonal thrill.

Ultimately, I am drawn to commercial law because I want to operate at the intersection of complex global transactions and emerging technology—bringing resilience, a relentless appetite to learn, and an absolute commitment to delivering results for clients.
