Restarting SQE prep

I didn't pass the SQE1 in my first attempt and I'm planning to resit the exam in January 2027.

I used QLTS materials for prep and also found that working full-time alongside studies didn't give me enough time to study.

I'm deliberating if I should buy the QLTS online materials again or use ReviseSQE or other materials people have recommended.

Quite confused at the moment but hoping to restart the prep asap!

Hi, I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm sure you will be able to smash it this time, fingers crossed.

Unfortunately, I haven't started the SQE process and don't really have much personal insights to give. What I do recommend however, is going over these two sources, Abbie provides quite a lot of detail in regard to the SQE. Otherwise, maybe @Jaysen has some advice, I know he recently completed the SQE.

Hi all!

I recently sat both SQE1 and SQE2 and thought it might be helpful to share my experience of the process, focusing on SQE1, including what worked well for me and what I wish I had known from the outset.

For some context, I graduated from a non-Russell Group university in 2025 with a law degree and I am a future trainee at Reed Smith.
