Nice job getting the applications in, and for keeping the momentum going after the vacation scheme cycle!

Law firm applications can be so unpredictable and you genuinely never know which application is going to be the one that converts into an offer. I don't think a random mix is necessarily a bad thing if they are firms you are genuinely interested in - sometimes people end up getting offers from firms they hadn't initially expected!

Update...

I've applied for a few direct TCs. Here's where I'm at:

• Macfarlanes - job sim done
• Morgan Lewis - app done
• Sullivan & Cromwell - app done
• RPC - app done
• WFW - rejection post VI

Quite a random mix but also trying not to let myself drop off after not converting the vac scheme. Just going to see what happens and keep the application skills sharp !

Rejections: Macfarlanes (post VI), Morgan Lews & Sullivan & Cromwell (both post app), WFW (post VI).

Waiting on RPC post app.

Looks like I'm done for this cycle though!

I'm only going to be applying for DTCs next cycle since I'm unable to do vac schemes with my job/current contract. Not only that but given its a law firm with a trainee scheme they would definitely look down on it. Soooo fingers crossed the DTC route will pull through. Hopefully getting paralegal experience will help with the apps but I'm already nervous
