My name is Ruth. I recently, decided to take securing a training contract in London for the 2028 cohort really seriously.
I’m a Nigerian. I schooled in Nigeria and I’m literally still making my applications from here, so I’m basically who you would accurately describe as “the non- traditional applicant”. I got to the final accessment stage at shoosmith though but rather than let rejections to stop me I have decided to give it my all irrespective of whether I win or not. But I believe I can win regardless of my background.
I have also decided to apply to firms that is almost impossible for someone like me to get into and I hope to come back here and tell you that I got in
