Hello All,
Here to document my SQE journey, hoping this will be very good for accountability too. I'll come here for daily updates on my experiences with the course, study materials and the whole process.
Few things to note:
- I'm a future trainee at an international firm
- Course starts next week (lol)
- Just moved to a new city yesterday.
How I'm getting along:
My approach will be ACTIVE RECALL, I believe this is the best way, I've made a spreadsheet of every subtopic to learn based off the SRA spec, and i will be using Claude to make me a study planner across FLK 1 and 2. I'll be making sure reading is the priority (you need to know the law), jotting down what i remember, making a master doc, flashcards, and then coming back to consistently, and then of course practice questions.
As of right now, BPP have a platform with basic MCQs on all topics, I'm doing this now as prep to know what my strengths and weaknesses are, and then i will attack the course.
What is important
- Positive mindset, in life i never talk down on myself, i know i can pass and I believe I will - this will carry me throughout.
- Gym - time to myself of course
- And i also enjoy reading, and when i have time i will contiune to delve into the classic works of Fyodor Dostoevsky.
I believe 4 months is a good amount of time if i lock it.
Let the games begin!
