Hi everyone, I graduated from uni of leeds recently and I secured a tc with an international law firm which starts this sep. My firm lets me choose where I do my SQE at bpp, and I chose the Leeds campus because I wasn’t mentally or financially ready (even with the grant) to move to London yet and wanted one more year close to my friends and support system in leeds.
I’m now worried I made the wrong decision. Most of my future trainee cohort will probably do the SQE in London, so I’ll miss out on making friends with them and meeting future trainees from other firms. I’m worried I’ll move to London after the SQE with no existing social network.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? i feel like I will be missing out on being with my cohort early on.
