And are the SJT and VI evaluated together or separately?

No problem, I appreciate you saying that! Yes, it's a blended assessment so we consider both elements together.

I have the same background as yours. No ties to the UK. I got my first AC ever quite recently so it’s definitely possible.

I wish AP advertised more TBH. Had no idea about their DTC. Went for the VS route instead.

the worst part about this cycle has been getting to 3 ACs but not being able to attend 2 of them because they wouldnt give a virtual alternative to the AC even if I lived in adifferent country :/

Sorry about that, RS. If you don't mind, could you share which these are? TCLA has a list of firms that offer virtual ACs and interviews or have the potential to.

I've been emailing some directly to find out as well. Ashurst so far has confirmed that they do.
