Just did two apps today, and finally survived the recruitment cycle!

I likewise did two.

Not sure I'd say "survived". More like failed. Ok, technically I have six live applications, and one more still to make.

But I'm no longer hopeful that I will get anywhere.

Next year will kick ass.
Or something.

On the website it says the DTC deadline was 30/06/2025 and interviews for March and Sept 2027 TCs will begin in August. Best of luck for the Paul Hastings DTC! 😅

Gutted right now coz just got rejected by a regional firm. Not that because I got rejected though. I applied after working hours yesterday, and took them just 2 hours to reject me like seriously? I gave my CV and wrote a total of about 1500 words for the application answers. This really doesn’t feel right. I guess maybe they’ve already shortlisted candidates but they didn’t mention they recruit on a rolling basis or encourage early application. Feel like a total waste of time, could’ve focused on other apps.

The HL WG is automatic but they usually send them in batches. If you applied in the days just before the deadline (29-31 July), you will most likely get the WG in the next few days/weeks. Best of luck for the HL DTC! 🙂​

@Ram Sabaratnam @Amma Usman @Jaysen having a bit of a crisis here, I refreshed by broweser and my Stephenson Harwood app submitted when I wasnt finished I emailed grad rec to explain that if they dont have time to reply before the deadline, I'll make a different account to submit and leave a note on the new application - do you think that is okay and will this put me at a disadvantage do you think? thanks guys! from a worried applicant :')

Can I just ask how did this happen? after I hit submit on my application page, I was sent a link to my email which said only if I click on it, my application will actually be submitted. Once I clicked I then received a verification email which confirmed my application was submitted.

I am wondering now if you didn’t click on the link, perhaps your application wasn’t even sent at all the first time around?
