Ive submitted my app on the last day and still gotten through
Beale and co DTC partner and HR interview invite. The only thing mentioned in their email is the interview would be for 30 mins on teams.
Does anyone who did the interview for the firms VS know what the interview is like (commercial or motivation and competency based or a mix of both?)

I have just checked their website and seen they operate a rolling recruitment. The deadline is May 31st, but since @futuretraineesolicitor mentioned success with submitting quite close to the deadline, it’s worth a shot. It’s always better to submit a quality application, than a rushed one. I’d still say to try and submit it quite early on before the deadline though.

In situations like this where it’s unclear, or where one may not be able to reasonably reach GR before the deadline, I recommend just submitting a day before to be safe.

Hi there,
I have just spoken to someone that has gone through the process, and they mentioned roughly two weeks. However, I would not worry if you haven’t heard back within this time frame, as recruitment processes vary year on year, and it could just be that they are still sifting through ACs.

No, it is the same initial application process as the Vacation Scheme, so candidates can apply to either the Vac Scheme or TC in an academic year. Sorry.

Can someone please advise on this - I am soon to be a graduate, so I have applied for numerous paralegal and legal assistant roles. I have experience at a range of law firms (although not necessarily city/commercial), completed a vacation scheme last year and have volunteered at a law clinic as well. I have been rejected so far from all or ghosted, with some recruiters not even replying back. Has anyone had similar experiences like this or recommend that I do something differently?
