thanks for the support but doubt that as I had 1/9 on grit???? idk how bc I even talked about the determination and resilience in my VI lmao plus I thought I know how to answer but apparently nope so my grit is not going to push me forward

Ah I see, no worries at all. Not sure if that’s helpful -but i would study the feedback and see what actions they recommend and consider them in your next test (whether it’s amberjack or not). I’ve done this and had some successes.

How bad is it if I somehow managed to not link my answer to Stephenson Harwood even once? I don’t know how I achieved that, I was so stressed I mentioned their core competencies etc, I just didn’t name drop them….

They could have sent out the wrong email, IDK, because the email is quite unambiguous that it was based on the SJT overall score which does not include VI:

The "video interview items - can be assessed for successful candidates only" does make it clear that AJ does allow firms to waste candidates' time by having them sit the VI even when they've already failed the SJT, and in such a case the VI will be ignored.

However, I quite frequently receive emails with the wrong reason for rejection from law firms, so they might have sent me a wrong email in this case and I lost on VI.

IMO since that image is from Amberjack’s sales page, I think what they’re trying to say is that recruiters have the option to send video interviews successful candidates only, if they prefer. It would not make sense to send a video interview to all candidates if they were not going to consider it

Honestly idk if we should, it was my first time doing a vi and I remember reading somewhere that you’re supposed to link all your answers to the firm you’re applying to?

I mean, I also usually link my work experience in the app to the firm, but I think it was the second question about qualities? I don't think I linked that, first one obv talked about why the firm, last one was also the firm but I screwed that one up, middle two I dont think I specifically linked them

-Hogan Lovells (I did the WS on 04th August)
-Stephenson Harwood (did the Amberjack on 9th August)
-Paul Hastings (haven’t heard a word from them)

I was thinking maybe like tie it to their culture at the end? But yeah you’re right, I’m overthinking, I was just scared maybe it’s somehow common knowledge that you should link all your answers to the firm even if briefly so I thought I might be really screwed

I saw that some individuals received PFOs after the WG from HL. However, I'm unaware of the timeline on this.
