For the A&O question: Please describe the key learnings/skills you’ve gained through work experience, positions of responsibility, personal experience or extracurricular activities (250 words). How many skills would people recommend doing? Is it best to apply specific examples using STAR type structure or write very briefly about 3/4 skills and more descriptive?
Since they've asked you to describe the *key* learnings and skills you've gained, I'd stick to 3-5 skills, depending on how much detail you want to go into. I don't believe STAR/CAR is too useful here and it would be best to be more descriptive.

If a firm is v strong in many areas, including project finance and private equity, but my main motivation was because of its project finance practice, would I need to mention private equity in an interview (even though I only know the basics and can't say I'm interested in it due to no experience)?

If the firm has a compulsory PE seat, then it maybe something you want to still reference. You don’t necessarily have to say you are interested in it, you can frame it more that you are looking forward to experiencing it through the TC.

i just got my Clyde and co report however the assessment centre is in the next 3 days and no outcome yet. I’m almost certain it’s a no because 2 days is really not a lot of time to prepare for an AC but weird they sent me my feedback report but not an outcome!
I am in the same boat, trying to find a way to contact them. this is very frustrating just give me a PFO and move on :((
