In the interest of transparency, my results were:

Grit: 6/9
Applied Intellect: 7/9
Creative: 3/9
Digital: 6/9

Applied Verbal: Excelled

Tbh i don't know what to make of these results, especially the 3/9. Will not keep hopes high.

I did the stupid thing of looking at my application after submitting it. I wrote furthermore at the start of two consecutive sentences. It just reads so odd. I hope that the rest of the application makes up for it but, it’s in the first question so they might just discard it before reading the rest. This is why NEVER edit on the actual application form. Off to go sit in the dark for an hour and contemplate my sad existence.

Does Baker McKenzie’s online interactive assessment include a VI?

I know it doesn’t say it in the email but I saw people talking about VIs for Spring so just wanted to make sure

Another rejection, this is just killing me now, wake up at 5:30 to go to my job in London (which I can’t work from home for) to make absolute pennies, get back at 19:00, spend the rest of my evening doing applications, and then spend my weekend doing applications.

I don’t have time for social life I don’t even really have friends and I’m just pursuing a career I know will be empty….

I forgot to delete a sort of note for myself to add in an example literally ''a sentence {example}'' and then I continued and somehow despite reading back through it 5 times I missed it - starting to think that the fact I have not heard back yet is because they saw it and full on ghosted me. so yes, never edit in the actual application form but hey at least they can see it is clearly not written by AI lol

Just heard back invited to the online test and VI? Does everyone receive the VI alongside the test as thought it was a stage at a time.

thanks, yes i did read up and it LOOKS like maybe they are testing things more like getting distracted, so e.g., the WRONG xs are designed to make you feel stressed and if you just ignore them and maintain a certain level of performance without getting flustered then it's perhaps more the key than raw response time.

I just did the Osborne Clarke test, but it crashed half way through - it literally just refused to move me onto the next question. I tried it again, and it crashed again. I have now tried to complete it a third term and was told I can't... I have emailed Grad Recruitment. Anyone else had this issue?

I have just read my application to Paul, Weiss.

In at least 3 places, I forgot to put the , between Paul, Weiss.

In most parts (95%) I have included it.

I read through my application so many times to avoid this mistake and I still made it.

Hopefully they will let it slide or perhaps not and I’m cooked.

So yes, I agree to never edit in the actual application form.

At least they can rule out AI usage.
