I think its more the Critical Thinking test at the end rather than the SJT section thats the real cut offI got Working with Others and Respect too, I heard at an insight day that their main focus is CAPP.

Hi, what is the written assessment like?Does anyone who has completed the Mayer Brown trainee simulation want to compare answers to the video interview section of the simulation?
In the email they said "AG does not make any recruitment decisions based on immigration status and individuals will be assessed on their merits alone." So I'm guessing no?Did they say if they automatically reject applications from people who would not meet the skilled worker requirement? Even for vac schemes?
What do you have to lose? Just apply - decent VS conversion rate. You may regret not applying there. They haven't run ACs yet, AFAIK. Plus summer's a long way off. Still, WG invites there are rolling. Best of luck with your application.Hey is it too late to apply fro Hogan Lovells Summer? The deadline is close now, also do they not recruit much from direct TC, I'm I better off applying for that instead? Please share views?
Thanks Jessica!I haven’t applied for a visa in sometime, so it maybe that categories have changed (this can often happen). So I can’t be 100% sure on this
Typically the “legal professionals not elsewhere classified” has been the code used (2419) as they use the old term of “Solicitor’s clerk” (old name for trainees) as the job title reference.
The lower rate for this category is £30,960 but candidates have to be under 26 and a recent graduate or hold a PhD. Because some candidates won’t meet this criteria, often firms will apply the upper rate of £38,700 consistently though.
Youtube videos answering the WG + practise tests! So good! How did you practice for WG?
You got to the VI stage? Well done. Don't think I got that far. SJT was pretty rough for me.Does anyone know what the VI format for Baker McKenzie is like? (e.g.) 30 secs prep and 90 secs answer. I saw on some previous threads that it was 45 secs prep and 90 secs answer (for years 2019-2021) but I'm not sure if it's changed since
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it ☺️1) closes at 4pm tomorrow and won’t reopen until 9.30am on 2 January.
2) if you comment on Jaysen’s LinkedIn post, you can be included in the test group and will get added to the mailing list about how the platform will progress.
Hey, this is a really valid feeling. I expressed the same sentiment to my friend (an associate at an MC firm) and she said even she had felt the same during the app stage.guys i can't do this anymore tbh - i don't know if i'll ever be good enough to get a TC and don't get me wrong its so nice to see everyone's success here but it can get a bit overwhelming - might take a short break just to clear my head

I got the high's in Respect and Resilience, with the low in Leadership Pref.Sorry to hear that. Do you mind saying which attributes did you get on Capp Assessment?
I got high score in Respect and Working with other and low in Leadership preference. Don't know if it is enough for the next stage.
they said 90 second each back in the Open Day T_T why did they shorten itMishcon email about tech issues - they have clarified that the deadline has been extended to midnight 23rd, with one minute prep one minute speaking time for VI
