For video interviews or interview questions in general that ask questions like " how would you respond to feedback and implement it in your work" or "how would you collaborate with different people" - should you keep your answer general or given an example of when you did this?
I am never too sure, especially when the question doesn't necessarily contextualise in a specific, given scenario.
I’d generally approach it as a more forward looking answer where you envisage yourself in the firm rather than relying on previous examples. Your previous examples won’t be directly answering the question as it’s asking you how you would approach something at their firm, not in a different environment. I have seen people reference other example briefly, but it’s really important to not make it the core of your answer.

Am I being slow, or is there no way to save my grades/ education details on the Candid platform used by vantage etc for other applications..?

I am absolutely SICK of writing out the same details over and over again...

I think you can create a profile on vantage and add your details on there and then when you start applications it gives you the option of using the pre saved information that is on your profile to fill in the personal information and the educational sections of the application.

The only things you would need to manually fill in would be the work experience / application questions sections (for obvious reasons).

Once you have created a profile on Vantage then law firms will email you opportunities of their events and reminders of their deadlines for VS/TC’s.

They should really let us reuse our work experience, it's becoming too much for me 😂 😂 EVERY SINGLE TIME I have to spend about 45 minutes completing my work experience section to add 19...

Hello :) can anyone tell me whether firms care about your first year grades if you received a good degree classification overall? I graduated with a First from a Russell group university but my first year grades are very bad. I do have mitigating circumstances (but they were not applied at the time.)

Thank you in advance!

When I spoke to a couple of firms during open days, they mentioned that as long as they can see an upward trajectory, they are not too fussed :) I guess its just to see if you are capable of doing the SQE cause they invest a lot into it.
