just got feedback post a failed ac and they said i gave the best performance they've seen for group-based exercises... which is WILD because last cycle i failed three ACs bc of the group task it's all luck trust

this is what ropes said to me:

"We have now had the opportunity to select the candidates to proceed to assessment centre. Whilst you have not been selected, you have made the waiting list. Due to the high quality of applications we received, it is a great accomplishment to reach this stage. We would like to contact you and offer you a place in the event we have any cancellations for our assessment centre."

their wording indicates all ac spots have been filled imo

Just wondering why I haven’t got a PFO or this in this case… firms really love to ghost me

I'm technically still waiting on Orrick post-app - I never even received the test. Pretty sure it's a rejection by now, though I don't know why they can't just tell me that 🤣

Thank you, its just so demoralising to deal with so much to get to those final stages all to be rejected at the end.

Alas, I'll see how my app for PH goes and provide a breakdown of my app season after!

tbh nothing radical i just made more jokes this time .. my points weren't super creative i think they js liked that i was handling people well (in that i recognised peoples mistakes candidly & guided discussion as it often got sidetracked)
